The Song Of 01/03/2017: The Verve – Bitter Sweet Symphony

‘Cause it’s a bittersweet symphony, this life
Try to make ends meet
You’re a slave to money then you die

Do I need to explain something here?)

Again, the song came up to the mind itself. Don’t even remember the last time I heard it.

‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’ is a massive 1997 hit from English alternative rock band The Verve. The main theme is based on The Rolling Stones’ “The Last Time” song. There were some plagiarism stories. But finally, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were added as songwriters.

Anyway, the song is huge. We’re still singing it. Rock classics!

And I keep singing:

No change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I’m here in my mold
I am here in my mold

Working after holidays. Harsh reality. Surreality again 🙂
